Vigtory, a new sports betting operator catering to high-wager bettors, has entered a partnership with sports betting media company The Action Network to target its audience. The partnership will integrate The Action Network’s betting tools into Vigtory’s app, taking the media company’s operator partnerships to a new level. The Action Network already has partnerships with operators like BetMGM, PointsBet and DraftKings.

As Americans got ready Saturday for the first full Sunday slate of NFL games, along with the U.S. Open finals and more of the NBA playoffs, a startup company out of Chicago was continuing preparations to enter the $150 billion legalized U.S. sports gambling industry with a new pitch: Play with us, and we will charge you less than the competition. Vigtory plans to be up and running later during the NFL season, trying to break into a burgeoning sports gambling marketplace with an appeal to folks who are high-volume bettors: We will not take a huge cut of your money.

A new sportsbook is announcing its presence on Tuesday and will focus on a new strategy: A better price. The Chicago-based book, Vigtory, says it will offer lower vig to consumers for their bets by having a comprehensive in-house risk management and trading team. The book plans to be live in a few states this fall, and live in five states within the next 12-18 months.
